I attended Optegra at Birmingham and the entire team were fantastic. Like many other people I had Clarivu lens replacements. I can't believe the difference it has made, far better that I dared to imagine. A very big thank you to the receptionist who was friendly and welcoming, the opticians who performed the initial tests, the nurse who was so reassuring on the day of the procedure and of course Mr Wevill, who appeared to have all the time in the world for me, answering all the questions I asked and explained the process fully. You must be thinking about eye surgery if you're reading this. Go for it! it's quick, completely painless and worth every penny.

Mr Wevill operated on my right eye putting in a Symfony lens which has given me better distance vision and the ability to now read without glasses (something I have been unable to do for quite some years). I have just had my one week check up when I was informed I now have 20/20 vision and I have suffered no discharge from the eye and the operation itself was not an uncomfortable experience as it was done with local anaesthetic and accurate state of the art equipment and much care by Mr Wevill. I have been treated with a great deal of care and respect and would thoroughly recommend this procedure and Mark Wevill to anyone who is considering it. I am due for another check up at the end of October and have phone numbers should I need them but I am confident that all is well. Mr Wevill even phoned me on the evening following my operation to see how I was.

So yesterday i had my laser eye surgery (lasik) and now 24 hours on i am absolutely amazed by how much better my eyesight is. Having not being able to see the number plate on the car infront me in traffic, to now being able to see streets signs, number plates at distance etc, and then being told my vision is better than 20:20 is incredible. Before surgery i was nervous but excited about how this could change my life and it has! I cannot thank Mark wevill and everyone else at optegra enough, they were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who wanted to be without glasses and contact lenses.

I have recently had my lens replaced in both my eyes (IOL), the operations were carried out by Mark.I found everything about this experience absolutely brilliant. All the way through from the first consultation right up till now, I found Mark, Lesley and Amy very helpful, comforting, every question I had was answered. Lovely people, lovely team, I couldn't recommend them any higher.

Wow. Having been refused laser eye surgery in the past due to my poor vision and astigmatism i was delighted that Mark was confident that he could not only perform surgery on me but that i would end up with hugely improved vision. Infact i now have 20 20 vision, and after 40 years of being minus 5 . something in one eye and minus 6. something in the other it feels like a miracle. To wake in the middle of the night and see perfectly, the same in the shower and when applying make up, its a MASSIVE difference. The care and attention of ALL the staff, the price, the aftercare, cant praise them all enough.
